I love the #womensempowerment movement! There’s nothing more important than knowing there’s a seat at the table for every WOMAN to eat and win! I truly believe “When women support each other, amazing things happen”
Not just that but it’s important we “Be the women we needed as a girl” meaning we share our “truths” and experiences about our journeys. That we are honest and transparent when it comes to our personal trials and tribulations, failures and successes, trials and errors… despite everything that comes our way, it’s important that we show other women there’s no limit to what we can do, and no goal we cannot accomplish.
This #InternationalWomensDay learn to love the woman you are and celebrate who you’re becoming! Learn to be unapologetically YOU, regardless of your past and your shortcomings… get comfortable telling YOUR story! That’s how you inspire people, by showing them it hasn’t been easy but you still keep going!
There’s no doubt in my mind I’m where I am in my life and in my career because I’ve had MANY women help me get where I am today. From family, to friends, to mentors and colleagues, I’ve been blessed and fortunate to have women look out for me, offer me advice and help me when need be. I encourage us to be that for someone!
