DESCRIPTION:MyCom is proud to partner with the NAACP Cleveland Branch to host the Cleveland Youth Mayoral Candidates Forum\, September 30th 5:30-7:00pm. Due to an abundance of caution regarding COVID-19\, the forum will be held virtually. Youth serving organizations will host in-person watch parties in various neighborhoods where youth can attend safely in socially distanced settings. The event will also be accessible via livestream on the MyCom Cleveland Facebook page or Zoom. \nThe City of Cleveland’s Mayoral General Election will take place on November 2\, 2021. This election will provide residents with an opportunity to select their city’s next chief executive. Finalists include non-profit executive\, Justin Bibb and current Cleveland City Council President\, Kevin Kelley. This forum will highlight priority issues identified by youth including but not limited to violence prevention\, public health\, education\, recreation and workforce development.
