On January 17th, more than 150 people came to a private viewing of Bad Boys 3 with #CourtneyCoversCleveland. Granted nobody wanted to shake a tailfeather with me lol (theme song from Bad Boys 2) I’m glad that we had a GREAT time watching a GREAT movie.. together! As I told the audience, in 2020 I will be more intentional in the movies I promote and sell out! I want to make sure I am support the highly anticipated films, as much as those with majority minority casts and film makers.
Of course it wouldn’t be a Courtney Covers Cleveland event without a spin! The guests entered to the theater with the theme music playing from the movie. I randomly selected groups of friends to act out their favorite scene from any of the previous Bad Boy movies for a giftcard to Sasa! Thank you to all my awesome actors for participating in my pre-movie activities and for all those who won prizes during Bad Boys trivia (super shoutout to the winner who answered Brown Sugar lol we knew what Marcus wanted to borrow). Thank you to all the companies that donated prizes or services to my winners. This was a great way to kick the movie off.
