Can I tell you it was absolutely amazing! Like no joke… this is one of her favorite places and when the GPS said 30 minutes I was hesitant… then I was like it’s my job and duty to travel around and share hidden gems like this one with YOU!
First of all everything is made from scratch! What started as a bakery (oh yes with only the finest viennoiserie ) is now a full restaurant serving breakfast and lunch 7 days a week!
Oh and the service! My server Heath deserves an award. He’s the kind of server you want to put in your pocket and take to every restaurant you go! He was not only knowledgeable on the menu giving us endless options- but he had such a kid spirit and personality!
OH and they have a special menu that changes! I tried the Old San Diego Breakfast Crepe and I could not finish (just swipe to see). It was like a burrito but not- stuffed with 10% grass fed New York strip carve asada, Mexican rice, organic beans, charred corn, avocado, queso, creamy scramble and potatoes —- I also added shrimp LOL! It was incredibly satisfying – now I know why this is one of the best places to eat in OHIO!
So yes the food was SUPERB, and so was my Irish Coffee with Baileys- but the service was also outstanding. I encourage you to go see what’s behind this Blue Door… you will NOT be disappointed.
