At the end of November #CourtneyCoversEvents planned what I knew would be my last event of 2020 and it was absolutely amazing – from start to finish!
Let me start with the venue, which just so happens to be one of my favorite #CourtneyCoversCleveland hidden gems. It’s a winery that I absolutely love no matter the time of the year- because it’s simply beautiful. Although it’s my love of wine that brings me here, it’s the nationally awarded and magical gardens adorned with hundreds of lights- that keep me from wanting to leave. The pathways are romantic, the greenery endless and the outdoor seating is plentiful to enjoy a glass or two of wine. Whether you’re under the tent, or in front of the fireplace at night- this is the perfect backdrop for any occasion. I had the pleasure of planning a large private event this time, but it’s perfect for lunch/dinner dates or girls night out! I can’t get enough of the experience.
If you’ve been here anytime in the past- go back it’s been remodeled! Honestly, it’s because of the renovations that I had been dying to have an event here. Lucky for me… it turned out to be the perfect venue for the perfect client. Take this beautiful space (literally breathtaking inside and out – just look at the pictures) and add a few awesome vendors- and you will see why this event was so amazing!
The guests enjoyed an open bar featuring house wines and a few family favorite liquors, dinner and dancing all night long- (and honestly as much dancing 6ft a part that could be done during COVID)! The food was catered by Taste of Excellence and the service was impeccable. Thank you Karen for working with us to customize our menu with the families favorites. From the passed hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour- to the served buffet dinner — everyone couldn’t stop raving about the food.
So where is this amazing place that I love? It’s the fabulous ThornCreek Winery and Gardens in Aurora! Thank you Jennifer for working around the clock to help bring this vision to life. Although we only occupied the Tasting Room and Gardens, you have to visit the aging cellar! It’s a super low-key and private space downstairs. Make a reservation for dinner, or just stop by for wine… let them know #CourtneyCoversCleveland sent you!
