On December 15, 2020 #CourtneyCoversCleveland was honored with the Hennessy V.S.O.P. Privilège Toast.
Thank you DJ Steph Floss and Hennessy for recognizing me as a mother, wife and blogger. It is truly an honor to be honored.
So often I wonder if I’m doing anything right or if I’m making a difference, I second guess if what I’m building is actually helping people love Cleveland a little more… or if by sharing my journey as a entrepreneur, wife or mom means anything to anyone. This celebration was a reminder to keep going! So thank you for for admiring and appreciating what I do Steph Floss and Hennessy.
I have known Steph for years and I find it a true compliment that he would think I could love Cleveland more than him! That says a lot… we are both great ambassadors of this great city! So kudos to him, for committing to giving people their flowers while they are still here.
Not only did I receive beautiful flowers, I had a custom menu of my favorite drinks, and I received an award and custom Hennessy V.S.O.P. Bottle. Take a look at the pictures above!
On this special night I was accompanied by my support system: My husband Bryon Ottrix- the love of my life, teammate in all things and #1 supporter! I can’t do what I do without his love and help. Our family is both my inspiration and motivation- and for our marriage and friendship I am forever grateful and blessed. Of course my amazing best friend Allie- who always has my front back and side. She never misses a beat and literally cheers me on in any aspect of my life- I cherish our friendship and sisterhood and so thankful to have her to share all of these special moments. Last but not least, mis padres- my parentals- the people who birthed me… Greg and Leslie Conwell. Thank you for pushing me since I was a little girl- encouraging me to work hard and follow my dreams. I owe a lot of who I am to you and I thank GOD for blessing me with parents who have always loved an supported me. Even when you asked when I was going to get a real job… LOL I’m glad I was able to show how this passion has turned into a full blown business. I’m happy to know I am making you proud.
Let me add we ALL enjoyed dinner at an amazing local restaurant in a very intimate private room, at Lago East Bank. The food and drinks were both amazing so I encourage you to stop by and visit. It’s right in in the flats, walking distance to all the entertainment- and perfect for drinks, lunch or dinner. We ordered a little bit of everything but if you need direction in what to try we enjoyed: Sautéed Calamari, Crispy Cauliflower, Fried Mozzarella and the Sofia Pizza for appetizers. For our meals I had the Lamb Rack with Brussel Sprouts, and my family enjoyed a mix of Eggplant Parmesan, Impossible Burgers, Salmon and Scallops.
