This time the attire was RED ladies looked ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I wanted everyone to get in the holiday spirit a little early and before you REWARDED everyone else I wanted to make sure you AWARDED yourself. Hence the theme of the evening being the RED CARPET and questions centering around awards. I can’t explain it- you just had to be here! THANK YOU enough to everyone who purchased a ticket to attend or to have a vendor table.
I truly love how this event has grown and not just in numbers. Women of all backgrounds and ages (21-70) were in attendance dancing, singing, and discussing what it’s like to be a WOMAN! There was no drama, not arguments- just compliments and various perspectives. As you know, I never share the details of the event however this time I will share that the highlight of the evening was having our moms join us on stage for Girl Talk. Having them join in and answer the questions submitted from the audience- was very entertaining to say the least!
The reviews have been amazing thus far and I’m excited to make the next one even better than this one. I’ll be honest, when I realized there would be 300 people I was a bit worried. I wanted to make sure you could hear each other, and it was still intimate. I also wanted to make sure there was enough space for people and vendors to move around. Taking all of that into consideration, I selected a larger venue and brought in more wine and food. You ladies enjoyed, but I’ve already come up with the ways to improve it even more the next time.
