#CourtneyCoversCleveland had the chance to attend the Grand Opening of Superior Living, the new Airriva located in Downtown Cleveland and boy oh boy… was it amazing! No seriously, it’s Brooklyn charm … but right here in Cleveland. I didn’t want to leave… ever… like at all. It’s hotel quality that feels like a home. This luxurious short term rental complex (minimum two night stay required) is a modern, industrial one of a kind experience.
The former garment factory was vacant and neglected for years and has transformed into a beautiful mixed-use center that will contain 58 luxury apartments. The units feature exposed brick walls, gorgeous industrial-sized windows, granite countertops, tall, exposed ceilings, mosaic-tiled bathrooms, and reclaimed wood floor. Other amenities include a dog park, green space, a courtyard atrium, and The Green Goat Cafe Bar (although not open yet, this will be a street-level organic cafe).
What I loved most is that it is a hop, skip, and a jump to downtown nightlife!
I had the chance to stay in a two story townhome. It was beautiful! The full kitchen made we want to cook, although we ordered pizza for dinner. The dining table and living space gave us ample room to spread out and enjoy a few guests. The half bath upstairs, allowed us keep our full bathroom downstairs private and I really appreciated that. Speaking of the downstairs, the stairwell railings were awesome and the custom “C” made for a super cool focal point of the upstairs… leading to the downstairs. Not only was our spacious bedroom down there, a full bathroom but also a washer and dryer which can be found in each unit.
My brother in law just so happened to be in the town this weekend, so I booked a 1 bedroom suite for him and his wife to stay downtown with us. Their closet was massive, the bedroom was private with a barn door that opened to the full kitchen and living space. The washer and dryer in their unit was tucked away behind a door, and their bathroom modern and super clean! I also thought it was so cool that each unit had it i’s own unique wall art and moss. Yes, custom moss- there is very artistic moss throughout the suites and restrooms and they are so cool! Just take a look at my pictures above.
So not only did I see these two rooms, but I toured the entire property seeing various one bedroom layouts and two bedrooms townhomes. I promise, no two rooms were alike. For instance by brother in law had a custom CLE on their wall, we had the custom C, but other rooms had OHIO, or 216 – it varied. What I later found out is that these custom block letters, numbers or moss can all be ordered! Yep that’s right, get one for the mancave or your friend that lives out of town for Christmas. Oh, let me add everything is done through email! NO keycards that deactivate when too close to your cell phone- just codes sent directly to your email. Any questions- simply send an email. Neighbors being to loud? send an email. Need to check in or check out, just send an email!
I think this place is great for business professionals needing to stay in Cleveland for extended periods of times, traveling nurses, or people who travel but like to have more space (more than one bathroom and full kitchens) oh… and be close to nightlife. It’s also ideal for people like me who like staycations! This is a great weekend getaway and perfect for a Friday to Sunday since two nights are required. Cook, hire a chef… the options are endless and the views are beautiful. The natural light which you guys know I love…. was a great way to wake up and enjoy my cup of coffee.
So again, if you’re looking for a new place to stay try… Superior Living in Cleveland. They do have other properties in Cleveland so make sure you’re selecting Superior Living. I promise you won’t be disappointed! Hey.. you may never book a hotel in Cleveland again.
